Yepo Juncal

We love Yepo, Llepu or Balai, which are the names given to this traditional Mapuche piece originally used to clean grains. This one is handwoven with one of our favorite island fibers, Manila (Phormium Tenax), from the Chiloé archipelago. This cute yepo, 50 cm in diameter and 6 cm high, is more rigid than its Ñocha cousins ​​(Yepo Campo and Yepo Wallkün), making it perfect for setting up a bar, as a fruit bowl, centerpiece or tray. We love its shape and color that reminds us of a lake shore full of reeds and golden sunsets.
